Benjamin West named purchasing firm for Extended Stay Hotels

Extended Stay Hotels selected Benjamin West to handle the FF&E procurement for its renovation program, said Dan Sterns, Extended Stay Hotels’ executive VP of acquisitions and development.

“This is the largest renovation program in the hospitality industry. We looked at many different procurement firms in the industry, and also at performing the procurement processes in house," said Sterns. "After careful consideration and an exhaustive review of different firms, as well as talking to other owners, brands and vendors that we know well, it was clear that Benjamin West was the top choice."

“We are thrilled to partner with Extended Stay Hotels as they embark on this major CapEx program," said Alan Benjamin, president of Benjamin West. "We will use all our firm’s global resources and vendor relationships to create value for Extended Stay Hotels."

HVM L.L.C., the operator of Extended Stay Hotels, is headquartered in Spartanburg, S.C. The company operates more than 680 extended stay lodging hotels.
