Best Western opens first hotel in Jordan

Best Western International opened its first hotel in Jordan, the Best Western Grand Hotel Madaba. Located in Madaba, 18 miles south of the Jordanian capital Amman and on the doorstep of the country’s most popular tourist sites, the Best Western Grand Hotel Madaba offers a base from which to explore the area.

The new modern mid-scale Best Western hotel offers a total of 70 air-conditioned guestrooms, each with a balcony to take in the sights and sounds of the city. All rooms come with satellite TVs, minibars and complimentary Internet access.

Guests can also benefit from a range of leisure facilities, including a heated outdoor swimming pool and terrace, plus a health club, restaurant and lobby lounge. For corporate guests, the hotel also offers a business center and meeting space for up to 80 people.

Best Western’s first hotel in Jordan marks the latest stage in a major Middle Eastern expansion for the company. So far in 2012, Best Western opened seven hotels in the region, debuting in four countries – Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait and Jordan.

Best Western currently operates five hotels in the Middle East region, but this is expected to expand to 23 by 2015, incorporating all three Best Western brands – midscale Best Wester, upscale Best Wester PLUS and luxury Best Wester Premier.
