Blended characters: Urbem by Christopher Jenner

Introducing Christopher Jenner’s Urbem lighting collection, which blends the character of 19th century Milanese street lighting with LED technology. Made up of eight pieces, the Urbem collection (meaning “City”) is hand crafted in triple layered opal glass. The convex and concave glass shades are hung from decorative steel chains with a wireless LED power source integrated into the design.

Jenner is a London-based designer who launched his studio in 2010. Born in South Africa, Jenner graduated in Cape Town and has lived in Paris, Tel Aviv and Hong Kong.
