Celebrating nature: Natural Curiosities by Shaw Hospitality Group

Introducing the Natural Curiosities collection, which includes 27 field, corridor and rug patterns that were designed by David Rockwell.  The second collaboration between Rockwell and Shaw Hospitality Group, Natural Curiosities celebrates nature, with many of the patterns in the line altering the scale of a natural detail to such a degree that it results in a process of “defamiliarization” for the viewer. The collection includes Flight Rug, and Ruffled Feathers.

Natural Curiosities uses various manufacturing techniques to achieve its aesthetic, including dye-injected print, tufted and CYP (computerized yarn placement).
