CetraRuddy to design Tommy Lasagna in New York

The hospitality group of design firm CetraRuddy has been awarded the commission to design a new restaurant to be known as Tommy Lasagna in New York City. CetraRuddy will design the interiors of this new 1,800-square-foot Italian restaurant on East 18th Street, between Park Avenue and Irving Place.

Design Brief: fresh, young and welcoming, we hear. Materials will include carved slabs of marble, mosaics, iron detailing and wood to create an inviting, festive atmosphere. The new restaurant will offer cuisine centered on fresh pasta and hand-made lasagna, the preparation of which will showcased by an open kitchen.
The project is anticipated to be completed in October of 2011.
