Apsilon Properties, a hotel development company that owns and operates several IHG-branded properties in metro Atlanta, will own this new hotel.

Spearheaded by Hawaii-raised architect Greg Warner of Walker Warner Architects, each accommodation will have a private lānai and outdoor shower.

The new hotels opened in Mesquite, Texas; Bardstown, Ky.; and Santa Monica and Hollister, Calif.

This achievement coincides with the one-year anniversary of Choice Hotels' acquisition of the WoodSpring brand and franchise business.

Arquitectonica, working with the Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, combined European glamour and nautical aesthetic for the property.

The design team drew inspiration from the geometric configurations of the classic Chinese game, Tangram.

This extended-stay hotel adds 95 rooms to the burgeoning Salt Lake City hotel market, and it isn’t wasting any of its limited space.

The property will come down to make way for a 2-million-square-foot office tower, which will include a smaller version of the Grand Hyatt.
