Contemporary look: Aveo New Generation by Villeroy & Bosch

Villeroy & Boch launched an update of its 10-year old Aveo collection by Sebastian Conran, this time with a more contemporary look. Named Aveo New Generation, the collection includes sanitaryware, new furniture and smart storage.

Both the ceramics and the furniture have been tweaked to give a more contemporary look. The ceramics are now more contoured, lighter; while the overall height of the sanitary ware has been slightly reduced.

The front doors and drawers of the washbasin vanities are slightly rounded, both vertically and horizontally. Discreet recessed handles are located at the sides of drawers and doors, while sockets are hidden inside the washbasin vanity to provide a clean look.

For storage, the vanities include an internal rail for holding small everyday utensils and an integrated hairdryer holder. Both surface-mounted and freestanding washbasins are available in various sizes.

A vertical atmospheric light has been integrated into the mirror which can be dimmed and its color can be changed, with choices including cold white light and warm yellow light.

A new addition to the line is an egg-shaped bath, which has been created in one piece. Crafted from Villeroy & Boch’s material Quaryl, a mix of the finest quartz sand an acrylic, the bath is hardwearing and easy to clean.
