The 185-room Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles LAX/Century Boulevard hotel has announced the completion of a multi-million dollar comprehensive renovation, reinvention and redesign to the lobby, guest rooms and meeting space.

A major highlight of the renovation is the brand’s signature Refreshing Business lobby concept with open, bright and contemporary design welcoming guests with vivid contrasting colors and offering travelers the flexibility to work and socialize however they choose. Seating options include a communal table, private media pods with high-definition televisions, and an intimate lounge area. Guests can connect to free Wi-Fi, with ample outlets throughout the lobby to power digital devices.
The traditional front desk has been replaced with three separate welcome pedestals to create a more personal and private interaction when guests check in. A signature element of the new lobby, the exclusive GoBoard technology, provides a 52-inch LCD touch screen packed with local information, maps, weather, and news, business and sports headlines. The enlarged Business Library features several complimentary computer terminals along with a free printer and the Boarding Pass Station dedicated to printing airline boarding passes and checking on flight status.
Dining has been completely redesigned with The Bistro, offering casual, flexible seating; higher quality, healthier menu options for breakfast and light evening fare; snacks; and a full bar so guests can unwind. The Market, a 24/7 shop for an assortment of snacks, beverages and sundries and is always open for late-night cravings.
The renovation also transformed all 185 guestrooms, designed with guests’ comfort in mind. The oversized, soundproof guest rooms offer a wealth of upscale amenities, luxurious bedding and 37” LCD high-definition televisions.
