Courtyard by Marriott Seoul Pangyo opens in Korea

Marriott International Inc. opened the Courtyard by Marriott Seoul Pangyo. Located in the heart of the Pangyo Techno Valley, an information technology cluster in Seongnam city, the 282-room hotel is near the Pangyo subway station, which gives direct access to Seoul Gangnam in 16 minutes with easy access to all southern Gyeonggi areas.

Courtyard by Marriott Seoul Pangyo implements a 100 percent smoke-free policy throughout the hotel, and offers three room types ranging in size from 280 square feet to 452 square feet, all equipped with a 40 inch flat screen smart TV, work desk and ergonomic chair, and high-speed Internet access. Also, an Executive Lounge is located on the top 19th floor for executive floor guests.

The complex is a 19-story building, with the hotel occupying the 8th floor and above, with offices, retail shops, restaurants and coffee houses situated in the floors below. The hotel is designed to satisfy the convenience of guests through its "one stop" layout, with the lobby, restaurant and bar and meeting rooms located on the 8th floor.

For dining, the property has all-day-dining restaurant MoMo Café; and the adjoining MoMo Bar, which has an outdoor terrace overlooking the Pangyo Techno Valley. Moreover, seven multi-functional meeting rooms are ideal for a business meeting or social purposes.

Courtyard by Marriott Seoul Pangyo is the seventh Marriott International property and second Courtyard branded hotel to open in Korea. Being the first business hotel in the Pangyo Techno Valley, Courtyard by Marriott Seoul Pangyo will support the area's development as an IT hot spot.
