Courtyard Newark Elizabeth to complete renovations by March 2016

Courtyard Newark Elizabeth in Elizabeth, N.J., is undergoing refurbishments that will see changes made to the property’s guestrooms and suites, lobby and bistro. The project is expected to be completed by March 2016.

The Bistro – Eat. Drink. Connect. in the Elizabeth hotel's lobby will be upgraded, with changes to be made to the space’s layout and color scheme.

Also, as part of the lobby remodel, welcome pedestals will replace the traditional front desk. The GoBoard will remain to offer visitors weather conditions, airport information and news.

The guestrooms and suites will be upgraded with new finishes, including vanities, larger work desks with power outlets and new Marriott bedding. There will also be technological changes, with the rooms installed with complimentary wireless Internet access, as well as flat-panel TVs with cable channels.

Courtyard Newark Elizabeth is located at 87 Glimcher Realty Way in Elizabeth, N.J. The hotel has six floors with193 rooms, 10 suites and four meeting rooms totaling 1,602 square feet of event space.
