Courtyard Rockaway-Mount Arlington receives renovations

MOUNT ARLINGTON, N.J.—Hospitality Ventures Management Group (HVMG), a privately owned hotel ownership and management firm headquartered in Atlanta, announced the debut of the all-new Courtyard Refreshing Business lobby and dining concept at the Courtyard by Marriott Rockaway-Mount Arlington hotel in Mount Arlington, NJ following an extensive renovation.

Operated by HVMG, the 125-room Courtyard by Marriott Rockaway-Mount Arlington is located at 15 Howard Blvd. at Exit 30 off I-80 near the New Jersey Transit Station to New York City.

Courtyard Refreshing Business concept a totally new lobby experience

The Courtyard by Marriott Rockaway-Mount Arlington features the new Courtyard business lobby design, which replaced the traditional front desk with separate welcome pedestals to create more personal and private interactions when guests check-in.  Flexible seating options range from a communal table for larger group interactions to more private media booths with HDTVs, a home theater area with a 54-inch flat-screen TV, and a more intimate, semi-enclosed lounge area.

Another element of the new lobby is the interactive GoBoard®, a 55-inch LCD touch-screen packed with local information, maps, weather, news, business and sports headlines as well as updates on in-house events.  Guests can use the touch screen to find restaurants and local attractions and print directions to their destination.  Free WiFi and ample electrical outlets throughout the lobby connect guests to their digital devices, and the new business library features two all-in-one computers and a printer dedicated to printing airline boarding passes.  More information on the Courtyard Refreshing Business lobby can be found at www.gocourtyard.com.

The Bistro offers new casual, healthy dining option

Dining at the Courtyard by Marriott Rockaway-Mount Arlington also has been completely redesigned with the debut of The Bistro, a casual dining concept that serves the lobby with Starbucks® coffee, healthy menu options for breakfast and light evening fare including healthy sandwiches, salads and other entrées.  The Bistro also serves beer, wine, cocktails and snacks from 5-10 p.m. daily.

Upgrades to guest rooms part of renovation

Guest rooms at the smoke-free Courtyard by Marriott Rockaway-Mount Arlington also received upgrades with new 37-inch, flat-screen HDTVs and improved WiFi access.  They also include luxury bedding packages in king or two-queen options, pull-out sofa beds, mini-refrigerator, voice mail, free high-speed Internet, and coffeemaker.

The Courtyard by Marriott Rockaway-Mount Arlington offers 870 square feet of meeting space in two rooms with WiFi capabilities.  Ample on-site parking is free, and guests can relax at the hotel’s fitness center, indoor pool and whirlpool.
