
d-ash designhas appointed Jhipo Hong as its new creative director. Described as "the ideal candidate" by firm president, David Ashen, Jhipo brings more than 20 years of experience to the New York-based environmental design firm.
Jhipo brings an extensive background in branding, retail design and environmental design to d-ash. He has worked on retail design for Macy’s Merchandising Group and for Tommy Hilfiger, as well as projects for clients including Chanel, Henri Bendel, Sony Style, Circuit City, Movado, C&A Europe, Saks Inc, Delta Airlines, Ramada Hotels, American Express and Martha Stewart.
According to David Ashen, this experience will allow him “to impart his hands-on knowledge to d-ash design and guide the future creative vision of the firm.”
d-ash design is a New-York based environmental design firm that combines innovative design with functionality. They have won the “2008 Best New Restaurant” award from Esquire, and they have also been named a “Rising Star: Interior Design” by Fashion Group International in 2006 and “One of the 10 Designers to Watch” by New York Magazine in 2004.
