Datai Hotels and Resorts opens new beach villas in Langkawi, Malaysia

Datai Hotels and Resorts opened new beach villas. The Datai is a property that is located on the northwestern tip of Langkawi in Malaysia, an island of jungle-covered mountains, lakes, caves and waterfalls.

The Datai has of 14 new beach villas near the Andaman Sea. The 2,346-square-foot one-bedroom villas and the 5,112-square-foot two-bedroom villas offer a choice for romantic getaways, families, couples traveling together or small groups. Each of these villas incorporate an open-plan design. The living areas link with a secluded, fully enclosed garden that hosts a rain shower and a 39-foot private pool.

The Datai has 54 deluxe rooms, 40 villas, 16 suites and 14 beach villas, all offering views of gardens and rainforests. There is a range of options for indoor or alfresco dining. Two swimming pools, a spa under the rainforest canopy and the nearby 18-hole championship Ernie Els designed Datai Bay Golf Course (re-opening in August) provide additional leisure options. The property is located 30 minutes’ away from Langkawi International Airport.
