Dawnvale Hospitality Interiors completes The New Inn

Dawnvale Hospitality Interiors (DHI) it supplied and installed the complete furniture and soft furnishings package for The New Inn in Cerne Abbas, Dorset.

This 16th Century building was transformed during the $2.1 million refurbishment. The accommodation now includes 10 standard bedrooms and three individually designed suites. The restaurant was also transformed.

DHI supplied solid oak bedroom furniture including beds, wardrobes, bedside cabinets, dressing tables and chest of drawers for all the standard bedrooms with bespoke manufactured oak headboards, leather sofa beds, armchairs and brass beds. All three suites included individual king size beds and matching bedroom furniture. All the bedrooms included a black out blind, beautiful lined curtains with decorative fabrics on oak or brass poles, scatter cushions and a range of crushed velvet bed throws.

In the restaurant and bar DHI supplied a range of bespoke tables and chairs to suit the theme of the venue, and refurbished some of the existing furniture to ensure the original character remained. The use of quality leathers and decorative fabrics combined well as did the new dress curtains installed throughout the public area.

The New Inn in Cerne Abbas, Dorset used to be a former coaching inn. New life was said to have been breathed into the property by Jeremy and Vanessa Lee, who closed the pub in 2011 for a top-to-toe refurbishment.
