Dawson Design Associates conceives Le Meridien Delfina Santa Monica

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide announced the return of Le Méridien Hotels to Southern California with the opening of Le Méridien Delfina Santa Monica, debuting this fall. Owned by Pebblebrook Hotel Trust and managed by Viceroy Hotel Group, the transformation will follow a renovation of the Sheraton Delfina Santa Monica Hotel. Located in Santa Monica, Le Méridien Delfina Santa Monica is situated among the shops, cafes and galleries of the area and is in walking distance to the Pacific beaches and Santa Monica Pier.

Conceived by Seattle-based hospitality interior design firm Dawson Design Associates, Le Méridien Delfina Santa Monica will undergo a transformation of the hotel’s 310 guestrooms, public spaces and 10,000 square feet of meeting space. The hotel will also offer a full-service restaurant and bar, outdoor pool, grill and fitness center.

Le Méridien Delfina Santa Monica will have the Le Méridien Hub experience, which re-interprets the traditional lobby into a social gathering place. Le Méridien arrival consists of four elements: large-scale artwork in areas to reset the mind and stimulate dialogue; the sensory experience, illustrated through Le Méridien scent, sound and use of light; Unlock Art program, with LM100 artist-designed key card collections that not only offer access to the guestroom but also to Le Méridien brand affiliated contemporary cultural centers in the city; and a 24-hour curated soundtrack.

The Le Méridien Delfina Santa Monica is located at 530 Pico Boulevard, Santa Monica, Calif., 90405.
