Denton Corker Marshall designs Solís Ubud Resort & Spa

Solís by Capella Hotel Group announced the development of the Solís Ubud Resort & Spa, slated to open in Indonesia in 2017. Fresh from the debut of its first hotel in China in March (the Han Yue Lou Hotel Nanjing), this latest announcement signifies the expansion of the Solís brand, with further luxury hotels scheduled to open in Guangzhou, China, and Doha, Qatar.  Both properties are opening in 2015.

The Ubud property will be designed by Denton Corker Marshall, whose portfolio includes The Melbourne Museum and The Stonehenge Visitor Center, which is located near the World Heritage Site.

Solís Ubud is located in the cultural center of Bali. This 108-key hotel employs architecture inspired by Balinese traditional processions and celebrations. The property's guestrooms, along with its villas and "villa-in-the-sky" residences, will have panoramic views and riverfront experiences. Solís Ubud will also have two themed restaurants and a "royal bath" spa with a holistic focus.
