Dewan to Design Premier Inn Hotel at Abu Dhabi Airport

Metro Dubai, taken by NepenthesThe UAE-based architectural and engineering consulting firm, Dewan Architects & Engineers, has been awarded the contract to design and supervise the construction of the Premier Inn Hotel at Abu Dhabi International Airport.

The first Premier Inn property in the capital of the UAE, the 300-room hotel is set to open opposite Terminal 3, estimated at over $27.30 million.

The new property will emerge in 2012, joining three other Premier Inns throughout the country, including locations in Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai Investment Park and at Dubai International Airport.

"The building has been designed, and will be detailed and built to achieve an Estidama Pearl rating as per the requirements of the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA), and as per the environmentally conscious vision of Premier Inn Hotels as a developer striving to achieve sustainable development across all its projects," said Mohamed Al Assam, Dewan founder. 

Premier Inn is one of the United Kingdom's biggest hotel brands, with more than 580 hotels throughout the UK and Ireland. Trademark room features include en-suite bathroom with bath, shower and bidet, alongside a 32-inch flat screen television and complimentary Internet access.
