deZigns Interior Planning finishes Aqua Lotus Honolulu renovations

Hawaii-based hotel management company Aqua Hotels & Resorts announced the completion of guestroom renovations and upgrades totaling $2.5 million at the 51-room Aqua Lotus Honolulu.

The boutique Aqua Lotus Honolulu was transformed under the direction of Kory Wong-Oglesby of deZigns Interior Planning. Wong-Oglesby also worked on other Aqua projects including the renovation of Aqua Waikiki Pearl.

Custom artworks of local artist/photographer Kaypee Soh are infused with the palette of reds, pinks and greens. The artwork was meant to complement not just the in-room aesthetic but also the views of Diamond Head and the Pacific Ocean.

Guestrooms also received 42 inch flat screen LCD HDTVs, as well as upgraded bedding and linen.

One of Waikiki's first full-service boutique hotels, Aqua Lotus Honolulu is a 51-room property offering views of Diamond Head and the Pacific Ocean. Located at the east end of Waikiki, also known as the "Gold Coast," the hotel is in walking distance to the Honolulu Zoo, Waikiki Aquarium and across from Kapiolani Park and Waikiki Shell.

Aqua Lotus Honolulu is managed by Aqua Hotels & Resorts; a Hawaii-owned and operated lodging hospitality company founded in 2001 with locations on Oahu, Kauai, Maui, Molokai, Lanai and Hawaii, the Big Island.
