DoubleTree by Hilton Cairns to open Q4 2014 in Australia

DoubleTree by Hilton and Hilton Worldwide announced the signing of the 237-room DoubleTree by Hilton Cairns. Located at 121 The Esplanade, the have will enjoy a waterfront location. Formerly the Holiday Inn Cairns, it will join Hilton Worldwide’s Australasian portfolio of 21 hotels in the fourth quarter of 2014.

Hilton Worldwide earlier launched three DoubleTree by Hilton properties in the Northern Territory in 2013.

DoubleTree by Hilton Cairns will join Hilton Worldwide’s Hilton Cairns hotel. DoubleTree by Hilton has 380 properties in 33 countries and territories. Along with DoubleTree by Hilton’s three existing Australian properties in Darwin and Alice Springs, two new DoubleTree by Hilton Hotels in Western Australia have been announced in Perth and Fremantle.
