DoubleTree by Hilton Omaha Downtown completes $20M overhaul

The DoubleTree by Hilton Omaha Downtown Hotel and Executive Meeting Center in Nebraska completed a $20-million renovation. The 414 guestroom hotel includes 30,000 square feet of conference space.

Located across the street from the First National Bank and Union Pacific, the hotel is located near the CenturyLink Convention Center, in close proximity to area attractions, and offers complimentary shuttle service to Eppley Airport.

The DoubleTree Hotel Omaha Downtown has a new lobby with a reception area and a redesigned lounge. In addition, guests may enjoy the new Cyber Cafe serving Starbucks Coffee and encompassing complimentary business services. The hotel's renovation includes the re-mastering of all guestrooms and suites in earth tones with new furnishings and soft goods, including wall coverings and draperies, as well as updated bathrooms, and the addition of a 42 inch flat screen LCD TV.

The 30,000 square feet of meeting space, with its 9,500-square-foot Executive Meeting Center, was remodeled and redecorated for business with state-of-the-art meeting services and facilities. The Executive Conference Center is located on the 19th floor of the hotel and is designed to promote productivity to reach personal and business goals. Each meeting room provides panoramic views of downtown Omaha; a choice of All Day Meeting Packages or flexible banquet service; amenities such as powered tables and ergonomic chairs; tack-able surfaces and white boards; Business Center Services; laptop lockers; and telephone rooms.

 

Located at 1616 Dodge Street, Omaha, Nebraska, 68102, the hotel is a pet friendly property that provides guests with an array of amenities including a fitness center and an indoor swimming pool. Dining is under the direction of executive chef Aaron King. Signatures Restaurant offers American cuisine in a la carte and buffet service for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is also the City Center Pub, which is open for cocktails and dinner.

For exercise, guests may enjoy complimentary bicycles and helmets to tour downtown Omaha including the pedestrian bridge to Iowa. In addition to the complimentary airport shuttle, guests may also request complimentary shuttle service to the downtown business and Old Market Arts and Entertainment District, as well as local attractions. There is an onsite laundry, fitness center, self-parking and DoubleTree's complimentary warm chocolate chip cookies upon check-in.

The newly refurbished hotel has won accolades from DoubleTree by Hilton for "Most Improved Quality" for 2012, and has also been recognized by its management group, Westmont Hospitality Group, for excellence in guest service.
