Dream Downtown implements iBAHN TV service

Time Warner Cable Business Class and iBAHN are providing a new offering of enhanced television services for hotels, which is now premiering at Dream Downtown in New York City.

Delivered via iBAHN’s ETVi platform, this solution offers full-screen, high-definition access to the Web, in-room entertainment, and more than 60 available HD television channels, provided over fiber by TWCBC's new HD Video for Hospitality offering.

The Dream Downtown hotel is among the first to implement the enhanced service.

BAHN-commissioned research shows that nearly half of travelers (49%) who experience a slow Internet connection indicate that it will affect their choice of lodging for future business travel. Further, 70% watch HD channels on the in-room TV, and more than half (55%) connect their laptop with the TV in order to watch streaming video from the Internet.
