Element Suzhou Science and Technology Town opens in Suzhou, China

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide debuted its Element brand in Asia Pacific with the opening of Element Suzhou Science and Technology Town in Suzhou, China. The new Element hotel is owned by Suzhou Science and Technology Town Kexin Cultural Tourism Development. 

Element Suzhou Science and Technology Town has 188 rooms and suites, all with oversized windows for natural light. Each room comes with a kitchen, and amenities such as Heavenly Beds, spa-inspired baths, separate rain showers and all natural bath amenities. 

Each room also has a workspace and high-tech office and entertainment equipment, with complimentary Internet access and a one-stop connectivity solution that allows guests to hook up portable electronics to their in-room TV. SPG Keyless Check-In – the hospitality industry’s first mobile, keyless entry system that allows guests to use their smartphone as a key – is also available at Element Suzhou Science and Technology Town.

The hotel also offers 12,917 square feet of meeting space with Wi-Fi connectivity throughout.

For dining, available is Salon, an all-day dining restaurant; Relax evening reception; and the self-serve pantry Restore.

Other amenities include: a fitness center, an indoor saline swimming pool and complimentary bikes for rent.

Element Suzhou Science and Technology Town is located in the Science and Technology Town, an eco-city in the heart of Suzhou National New & Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone (SND). The hotel is a 30 minutes’ drive from Sunan Shuofang International Airport (WUX), and within easy reach to tourist sites such as Jiangsu Dayangshan National Forest Park, Suzhou Taihu Lake National Wetland Park, Suzhou Amusement Land, Zhenhu Embroidery Street and White Stream Ecological Park.

Element signed 19 deals in 2014 and is on track to triple its portfolio by 2017, with China openings such as Element Chongli in Zhangjiakou and Element Sanya Haitang Bay in Sanya in the pipeline.
