Evergreen Construction breaks ground on Atlanta’s First Hyatt House Hotel

Evergreen Construction began construction on Atlanta’s first new HYATT house hotel. The 149-key HYATT house Atlanta Cobb Galleria hotel, owned by a joint venture between Atlanta based Noble Investments and an affiliate of Hyatt Hotels Corporation, will be ready for occupancy in the spring of 2013.

Designed by Lindsay Pope Brayfield Clifford & Associates of Lawrenceville, Ga., construction commenced last month. The six-story property is located in Atlanta’s Cobb Galleria area within the Overton Park mixed use development at 3625 Cumberland Boulevard. The project is the first under the joint venture agreement between Hyatt and Noble reached in July of 2011.

The new Hyatt-Noble venture will share ownership and invest over $80 million in Hyatt select service brands including HYATT house and HYATT PLACE Hotels.

The 107,252 square-foot hotel will anchor a 3.7 acre parcel and feature a pool, fitness center, and dining space.
