Fairfield Inn & Suites Downtown Atlanta completes $4M overhaul

Fairfield Inn & Suites Downtown Atlanta completed its $4-million upgrade.

Located in downtown Atlanta in the historic Connally Building, the newly renovated hotel accommodates 156 non-smoking suites within its 17 floors, and retains the marble staircase from its original 17th century architecture. Each suite is equipped with a separate living area with a sofa bed, microwave, mini-fridge and a flat-screen TV. The bedroom area comes with views of downtown Atlanta and broadened bathrooms.

The property also has a fitness center, valet laundry services and business center. Similarly, there is a full-service bar known as the 54 Lounge, which offers views of Atlanta and casual seating with flat screen TVs.

The hotel’s Connally room, named after the original building which was constructed in 1916, has floor-to-ceiling windows and views of Downtown Atlanta, seats up to 75 people and provides a large flat-screen TV and equipment for presentations during business meetings. An open atrium sits outside the room and offers additional seating and TVs.

With nearly 700 properties throughout the US, Canada and Mexico, Fairfield Inn & Suites hotels participate in the Marriott Rewards frequent travel program that allows members to earn hotel points or airline miles for every dollar spent during each stay.
