Fairmont announces resort development in Bali for 2016

Fairmont Hotels & Resorts announced a new development on the southern coast of Bali, Indonesia scheduled to open in 2016.

Perched on a “bukit,” or bluff, on the Balinese coastline with a view of the Indian Ocean, Fairmont Bali will offer guests 170 guestrooms and suites as well as branded residences. Denniston International, a hospitality design and planning firm, will oversee the project.

Dining options are available, as well as recreational facilities including a spa and 18-hole golf course. Bali offers cultural attractions as well as activities ranging from visiting Balinese temples, shopping for handicrafts and jewelry to boating, horseback riding, scuba diving and parasailing.

The resort will also be home to the 80-room Raffles Bali, featuring one, two or three bedroom villas and branded residences with private plunge pools, outdoor dining and relaxation areas. Raffles is a sister brand under the parent company Fairmont Raffles Hotels International.
