Flamingo Las Vegas refurbished

Flamingo Las Vegas has announced the refurbishment of its 2,307 hotel rooms. The all-new FAB rooms will be available starting January 2, 2012.

Designed by Las Vegas-based firm, Westar Architects, the refurbishment is currently underway. The first 500 rooms will be available on January 2, with plans to complete approximately 100 rooms every 11 days. The completion of the FAB rooms will conclude the final phase of standard room upgrades, adding to the Flamingo GO Room build-out, which began in 2006 with 1,032 rooms and suites.

As part of the renovation, the rooms will be updated to feature modern décor designed to create a residential feel. Upon completion, features will include chaise lounges, patterned rugs, vintage Vegas framed artworks, and 32-inch flat screen Plasma TVs.

Located in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip, Flamingo Las Vegas features more than 3, 500 guest rooms and suites, and is home to a 15-acre pool and wildlife habitat. The property offers a variety of dining options, including Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville and Carlos’n Charlie’s, which is set to open this December.
