Fontainebleau Miami Beach to open Timeless store, conceived by John Rawlins & Devin Bruce

Fontainebleau Miami Beach announced that a new watch and jewelry store, Timeless, is slated to celebrate the resort’s past, present and future as it joins The Shops at Fontainebleau’s retail collection, which currently includes IDAandHARRY fashion boutique, Aquamarine swim shop, Lapis, the spa’s retail boutique, Morris & Co gift shop and Bleau Signature brand shop.

Conceived by John Rawlins of Rawlins Design and Devin Bruce, Timeless has an aesthetic comprised of glass walls accented by East Indian rosewood and upholstered leather panels in a soft pearl grey. The products will be showcased on the perimeter of the store and in a middle partition, with custom designed wall-scones made of Brazilian Rock-crystal serving as a divider for the merchandise. Accentuating the 10-foot tall walls, cubist inspired murals rendered in black, white and silver by artist Mark Gagnon will sit on-top of the eight floating glass display cases.

One of the elements to the store is a custom designed light sculpture by artists Gordijn and Nauta, titled “The Fragile Future.” Constructed of bronze, led nodes and dandelion seeds, the contrast between the heavy concrete block among the incredibly fragile dandelion heads creates a particularly visually striking ambiance. Fontainebleau is the only hotel to have a light sculpture by the artists.

Located on the first floor of Chateau, Timeless will offer a range of watches and jewelry, from vintage to sporty. Brands featured will include Cartier, Chanel, Kimberly McDonald, Loree Rodkin, Renee Lewis, Vacheron, Patek Philippe and Rolex.
