Forchielli Glynn helps redesign W Chicago – City Center

W Hotels Worldwide announced that, as part of the second wave of renovation projects to reinvigorate its North American portfolio, W Chicago – City Center, which is located in Chicago's Loop, will debut this spring with the help of design firm Forchielli Glynn. Elements from the building's 1920s architecture - such as original chandeliers, vaulted gold ceilings and an oversized fireplace - are enhanced with modern W design.

W Chicago – City Center has 403 rooms and suites. It is located close to the Willis Tower (Formerly the Sears Tower), the Chicago Art Institute, music at Millennium Park and the theater district.

The renovation projects of W Hotels Worldwide is a aggressive strategy that focuses on enhancing the W portfolio and a $100 million investment of the brand and its ownership groups with updates to public spaces, new signature bar and restaurant concepts and guestroom updates in markets including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Seattle, Mexico City and Washington, D.C.
