Futuristic study: Empatia lamps by Artemide

Artemide released the Empatia lamp, designed by Carlotta de Bevilacqua and Paola di Arianello. Empatia combines traditional glassblowing with modern LED technology. The resulting lamps are available in three different sizes and power levels, all with a light housed inside a smooth glass dome. Captured inside an egg-shaped cage, Empatia’s LED glows without glare. The resulting design, in clear and opaque glass, is reminiscent of Victorian bell jars, offering a futuristic study of light.
