Ian Marchant has created the breakout chair, Happy, for Komac, part of the Boss Design group in the United Kingdom. Made of molded CMHR foam, the chair features a steel wire frame measuring 12 millimeters in diameter, integral glides, swivel mechanism and a polished aluminum, four-star swivel base or a sled base.

Measuring 760 millimeters high, 630 millimeters long and 670 wide, the chair is available in a variety of fabrics (excluding leather).

Following graduation from The Royal Grammar School High Wycome in Buckinghamshire, England, Marchant joined Boss, developing bespoke products, including operator chairs, stacking/conference seating, breakout and fully upholstered seating, alongside creating Formula Furniture in 2003, where he designs freelance for clients including Lyndon Design, MRF and Sky Creations, among others.
