Golden light: Glass Drop table lamp by Foscarini and Diesel

Italian brands Foscarini and Diesel announced their collaboration with the unveiling of the Glass Drop table lamp, two years after the launch of the Glass Drop pendant lamps. The lamp has a mirror effect that vanishes once it is switched on, revealing a golden light.  Made from chromed blown glass, the diffuser melts into its stem, mimicking the shape of a traditional table lamp. Inside, two dimmable halogen lamps throw out a glow that filters through the glass. The lamp is part of Diesel’s collection of furniture and lighting known as “Successful Living from Diesel.”

Diesel’s home collection was initially launched with partner Zucchi in 2008 as an assortment of textiles. The home collection has continued to grow year after year adopting partnerships with interior designers like Moroso for furniture, Foscarini for lighting and Scavolini for the new Diesel Social Kitchen.
