SAN JOSE, Calif. — Members of the Investment Services group for Grubb & Ellis Company represented Hwang LLC in the sale of the La Quinta Inn Hotel located near the Mineta San Jose International Airport, to a private buyer for an undisclosed price.
Sofi Choi, VP and member of the company’s Hotel, Golf & Leisure practice group, Cynthia Stevenin, SVP, and Steven Chon, VP, represented Hwang in the sale.
“This is an excellent property located in what is considered the innovation technology golden triangle of Silicon Valley, within minutes from the airport and major corporations like eBay, Cisco, Intel and Samsung,” said Choi.
The two-story, interior corridor La Quinta Inn includes two buildings offering 148 guest rooms. The property was constructed in 1975 on roughly 2.6 acres of land and was renovated when converted to a La Quinta Inn in 2008. The hotel will continue to be operated as a La Quinta Inn. Onsite amenities include a pool, fitness center and shuttle service to the airport.
