Hans Koch elected to president of the European Hotel Managers Association

 

Hans Koch was elected as the new president of the European Hotel Managers Association (EHMA) and will run the office for the next three years from 2013 to 2015. Koch was elected during the 40th General Meeting of EHMA at the Hotel Principe di Savoia in Milan, at the conclusion of a series of seminars and celebrations for EHAM’s 40th anniversary.

The new Executive Committee, presided over by Hans Koch, is composed of Kurt Dohnal (first VP), Manuel Otero Alvarado (second VP), and Johanna Fragano (EHMA treasurer).

Hans Koch, 62 years of age and Swiss from Lucerne, is presently a national delegate for EHMA’s Swiss Chapter, and CEO of the Culture and Congress Centre KKL in Lucerne, after a thirty-year experience alternating his own country and Asian destinations.

For the last 2 years Koch has been CEO of the KKL Luzern Management AG (Culture and Congress Center), a contemporary property designed by Jean Nouvel that is comprised of concert halls, bars, restaurants and congress areas.
