HBA to design Kempinski Ambience Hotel, India

Hirsch Bedner Associates was selected to design the Kempinski Ambience Hotel, India. Located in the of Shahdara, east of New Delhi, the mixed-use property will contain the largest convention center in northern India, and include 480 luxury hotel rooms, five restaurants, two swimming pools, a luxury spa and fitness area.

HBA also used a palette relying on warm beiges and browns, which are accented by splashes of Indian color tones, such as indigo blue, saffron yellow, and vibrant reds. Cultural references will be underlined by an art collection comprised of works by contemporary Indian artists, which will in turn act as a highlight of the interior elements.

In addition to the lobbies on each side of the building, the property will house five restaurants, including a bar, an Indian Restaurant, a Pan-Asian Restaurant and a casual Italian Trattoria. Both wings of the building will have their own swimming pool, fitness room and changing area, and each pool will connect to a luxury spa with six individual treatment rooms.
