Thos. Moser launched the Cooper chair, the first chair in the company’s portfolio created specifically as an office chair. Designed by Brian Kane of Kane Design San Francisco, the Cooper chair’s shell is the sum of individual steam-bent and shaped solid wood members coopered and joined to become a single form. This process employs both high-tech computerized machining and handwork. The chair has a high-grade anline leather upholstered foam cushions, supported by an ergonomic solid wood shell.
In addition to its hand-crafted shell, Cooper is available in both high back and low back, with or without arms and a five star base with castors or stationary feet. Each shell is handmade by a craftsman at the Thos. Moser workshop in Maine. Cooper is made with solid American Hardwoods that are all sustainably harvested from North American forests utilizing the industry’s strictest practices.
