Hilton Garden Inn Allentown West refurbished

The 111-room Hilton Garden Inn Allentown West in Pennsylvania started a $2-million renovation of its public areas and guestrooms, which will be completed by December 2013. The hotel is owned by Keystone Lodging and managed by Linchris Hotel Corporation.

The redesigned open lobby concept will open up the breakfast area for a better flow during open hours. The business center upgrades will add larger computer screens with faster connectivity. Lobby bar, guestrooms, bathrooms and guest corridors will also be redesigned with a lighter color pallet and more open feel.

Situated minutes from multiple corporate parkways, Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom and various universities, the Hilton Garden Inn Allentown West provides the brand's Garden Sleep System bed; wired and WiFi Internet access in guestrooms and public spaces; an ergonomic desk chair; a work desk; and two speaker telephones equipped with data ports and voice mail.

The hotel also provides a  24-hour business center, with access to Print Spots remote printing which allows wireless printing from any laptop or smart phone.

For dining, to be offered are the Garden Grille and Bar restaurant and the Pavilion Pantry.

Other hotel amenities include: a glass-enclosed Pavilion lobby with a lounge area, a TV and fireplace; an alarm clock that allows guests to play their portable CD or MP3 player; an in-room "hospitality center" with a mini fridge, microwave oven and coffee maker; a sitting area with an easy chair and ottoman; a hairdryer; and an iron and ironing board.

The hotel's recreational facilities consist of a fitness center with cardiovascular and strength training equipment as well as an indoor swimming pool and whirlpool.

The hotel also has two meeting rooms offering 1,300 square feet of space. There is also an on-site guest laundry facility.
