Hilton to introduce sixth property in Cairo

Hilton Worldwide partnered with Saudi Egyptian Real Estate Development to introduce the company's sixth property to Cairo.

The 257-room Hilton Cairo Nile Maadi will be located in an upscale residential and diplomatic district, called Maadi, and it will enjoy direct access to the Corniche El Nile. The 23-story property, which is forecast to open early 2016, will also boast views of the River Nile, as well as Egypt's ancient heritage sites, museums and popular tourist attractions.

Hilton Cairo Nile Maadi will have a business center, a 4,305-square-foot function room, two boardrooms and three meeting rooms. Leisure facilities will include a health club and spa, an outdoor swimming pool, two restaurants, including specialty dining, a lobby lounge and an executive lounge.

Hilton Cairo Nile Maadi joins a property pipeline which includes the 635-room Hilton Heliopolis; the 660-room Hilton Makadi Resort; the 390-room Hilton Giza Pyramids and for Egypt's second city of Alexandria, the 158-room Hilton Alexandria Corniche and the 195-room Hilton King's Ranch Resort.

There are Hilton Worldwide properties in the cities of Cairo and Alexandria, and in the holiday areas of Hurghada, Sharm El Sheikh, Taba, Nuweiba, Marsa Alam, as well as the city of Luxor.
