Hilton Worldwide expands Turkish presence with DoubleTree by Hilton Izmir – Alsancak opening

Hilton Worldwide opened the DoubleTree by Hilton Izmir – Alsancak, marking the upscale brand's debut in Turkey's third most populous city. The 115-room hotel recently underwent a refurbishment program and has a roof top pool and bar, providing views over Izmir's city center and the Aegean Sea.

The 21-story hotel appeals to both corporate customers and leisure visitors and incorporates a range of upscale amenities.

Guests may enjoy views of the sea from the air-conditioned guest rooms, and enjoy modern amenities including an ergonomic desk, complimentary Wi-Fi connectivity, a mini-bar and an HDTV with 58 international channels. They may also upgrade to a deluxe room or suite for additional space and amenities.

For events, the property has four flexible meeting spaces, contemporary A/V equipment, creative catering services and a rooftop bar that is ideal for special receptions.

Other amenities include: the complimentary fitness center, rooftop pool and a spa.

For dining, available are: the Rooftop Bar and Restaurant and the Smyrna Restaurant.

Situated in Alsancak, the hotel is within walking distance of Izmir's many visitor sights, including its historic clock tower in Konak Square and the Kemeralti Bazaar. DoubleTree by Hilton Izmir - Alsancak is located 20 minutes from Izmir International Airport, which offers direct flights to 45 international airports.
