Hirsch Bedner Associates designs Raffles Istanbul

Hotel group Raffles opened its first property in Istanbul. Located at the heart of the Zorlu Center, a bazaar, the hotel overlooks the Bosphorus.

This heritage of Istanbul, Turkey is reflected in the interiors designed by Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA). The hotel is embellished with a collection of specially commissioned artworks. Many of these are by Turkish artists, others by artists inspired by this city.  These include tactile sculptures, objets trouvés, contemporary interpretations of classic patterns and pieces inspired by Byzantine jewels.

Raffles Istanbul has132 guestrooms and 49 suites, all blending Turkish and contemporary design. Floor to ceiling windows lead to furnished private terraces and balconies for views over the Bosphorus and the city.
