Holiday Inn Bangkok Sukhumvit 22 opens in Thailand

IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) opened the Holiday Inn Bangkok Sukhumvit 22. This is the company’s third Holiday Inn hotel in the city and its tenth in Thailand.

The 29-story tower overlooks Bangkok’s Benjasiri Park and has 300 guestrooms and suites located along the city’s main road, Sukhumvit Road.

The hotel offers a range of facilities and amenities to guests, including free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, a business center, outdoor lap pool and fitness center. The hotel’s event center, meanwhile, has a variety of rooms for both business meetings and social events, including a Grand Ballroom, which can cater for up to 800 people.

The property’s dining options include: the 24-hour room service; Zeta Cafe, the all-day dining restaurant; Lounge 9, which serves tapas-style food menu and refreshments; and Maya, the rooftop restaurant bar set against the Bangkok skyline.

Available for families with young children is Holiday Inn’s signature Kids Stay and Eat Free program. Harry Thaliwal serves as the GM of Holiday Inn Bangkok Sukhumvit 22.

The hotel’s opening brings the number of IHG hotels in Thailand to 17. There are more than 1,200 Holiday Inn hotels around the world and over 240 more in the pipeline due to open over the next three to five years.
