Architectural firm BWM Architects und Partner showcased the new Hotel Topazz, Vienna.
The building, characterized by striking elliptical window openings that jut out slightly, has a brown mosaic façade that absorbs and reflects the natural light. Inside, the curved window recesses serve as comfortable rounded spots for sitting or lounging, while offering venues for watching the city below.
The idea with the portholes was born partly from the lack of space, since the design had to make use only of approximately 1,646 square feet of site area.
The property is located in Vienna, Austria. While the façade design was done by BWM Architects und Partner, the interior design was done by DI Michael Manzenreiter.
