Carey Watermark: Carey Watermark Investors acquired the 132-room Courtyard by Marriott Pittsburgh Shadyside for $34.6 million. The hotel will continue to be managed by Concord Hospitality.

Beach House: The Northview Hotel Group acquired the Beach House, a Holiday Inn Resort, on Hilton Head Island, S.C., for an undisclosed price. The 202-room property will be operated by NVHG Management.

Arizona buys: Mig Real Estate acquired the Fairfield Inn & Suites Midtown in Phoenix and the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Old Town in Scottsdale, Ariz. No price was disclosed for the purchase. Since 2009, Mig has completed more than $137 million in hotel acquisitions.

Green Bay: The city of Green Bay, Wis., bought the Green Bay Carlton Hotel for $2.85 million as part of the KI Convention Center Expansion. The purchase will be included in the total cost of the future expansion.

Hercules House: PPHE Hotel Group made a deal with Mapeley Acquisition for Waterloo’s Hercules House. The 1.09-acre site was sold for $36.26 million, with an uncertain future for the hotel.

Park Plaza: Sunstone Hotel Investors purchased the Boston Park Plaza Hotel & Towers for $250 million. The property will continue to be managed by Highgate Hotels.
