Hyatt brand debuts in India

Hyatt Hotels Corporation debuted its fifth brand in India with the official rebranding of five hotels to Hyatt: Hyatt Bangalore MG Road, Hyatt Hyderabad Gachibowli, Hyatt Pune, Hyatt Amritsar and Hyatt Ahmedabad. The new Hyatt hotels join the 11 properties open throughout India operating under the Park Hyatt, Grand Hyatt, Hyatt Regency and Hyatt Place brands.

The five hotels offer upscale accommodations. The hotels’ restaurants and gathering places are geared toward business and leisure travelers, and can accommodate small business meetings and social gatherings.

Hyatt Bangalore MG Road is located in the heart of India’s Silicon Valley on the MG Road, with views of nearby Ulsoor Lake. The hotel is close to Bangalore’s shopping and business areas and has 143 guestrooms, including four suites. The hotel’s signature restaurant, The Pink Poppadom, serves modern Indian cuisine; Lido, the all-day-dining restaurant, is situated overlooking the swimming pool; and the rooftop bar, Liquid Lounge and Bar, offers al fresco experience. Hyatt Bangalore MG Road also offers a spa and fitness center. The hotel’s meeting and function space includes the Istana conference room, a pre-function area and two smaller meeting rooms.

Hyatt Hyderabad Gachibowli is located 20 minutes from the airport in Gachibowli, in Hyderabad’s new business district. The hotel has 166 rooms, including nine suites, and is spread across a landscaped area. The hotel’s two restaurants include Collage, which offers international cuisine, and Deori, which is known for its North Indian, Andhra and Hyderabadi cuisine. The Lounge Bar offers cocktails and premium liquors. Hyatt Hyderabad Gachibowli’s spa features six treatment rooms. The fitness center and temperature-controlled outdoor swimming pool are also available. The meetings and function space at Hyatt Hyderabad Gachibowli includes the Istana conference room, a pre-function area and a number of smaller meeting rooms.


Hyatt Pune, situated in Pune’s IT corridor on Nagar Road, is 10 minutes from the airport. The hotel has 209 rooms, including 12 suites, and is known for its Garden suites, which have a garden that is ideal for long-stay and leisure guests. Eighty Eight, the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant, has an international menu with a live Japanese Teppanyaki grill and Tempura station. Baan Tao is the Pan-Asian restaurant. Amenities include: a spa, fitness center, outdoor swimming pool and a vitality pool. The hotel offers public areas and more than 10,000 square feet of banquet and meeting space for small and medium size conferences, trainings and social events.

Hyatt Ahmedabad is located 35 minutes from the international airport and adjacent to Vastrapur Lake in Gujarat’s largest city. The hotel’s 178 rooms, including 10 suites, are equipped with bedside electronic controls and facilities for the business traveler. The hotel offers multiple restaurants, including Collage, and Chocolart. It also has a spa, a salon, a fitness center and an outdoor pool. Meeting and function facilities at the hotel encompass 11,500 square feet and includes a ballroom, pre-function areas and two private meeting rooms.

Hyatt Amritsar is located in the Amritsar’s city center. The hotel’s 248 rooms, including 10 suites, feature electronic controls. The hotel has two restaurants, Collage and Thai Chi. The Lounge Bar is an additional venue. It also has the Spa at Hyatt Amritsar, a fitness center, an outdoor swimming pool and a vitality pool. Hyatt Amritsar has a 9,400-square foot meeting and function space, which includes the Istana conference room, pre-function areas, two private meeting rooms, and an exotic tented garden.
