The historic Hyatt Regency Buffalo, 2 Fountain Plaza unveiled its 1,500-square-foot Penthouse Suite. With 18-inch panoramic views of downtown Buffalo, the space is designed for business and leisure travelers seeking a retreat in the heart of the city. The Penthouse Suite can also host private parties and corporate meetings.
The Penthouse Suite has Mid-Century modern-style chandelier lighting, pin-studded plush living room furnishings, luxurious bedroom linens, bath linens from Restoration Hardware and custom artwork including black and white vintage photography of downtown Buffalo. The neutral décor of the space is accentuated by playful pops of persimmon and turquoise; while taupe and gray tones are an ode to the natural beauty at nearby Niagara Falls and Lakes Erie and Ontario.
The seven-foot dining room table is constructed of natural oak beams and flanked by leather chairs. Art Deco-inspired mirrored dressers and desks, as well as replicas of 1920s antique polished nickel fixtures, were added to the space.
In addition to the bedroom, living room, dining room and a full and half bath, the suite also has a walk-in closet full of amenities for long-term guests, along with a kitchen and breakfast area with a refrigerator and wine cooler, nickel Williams-Sonoma barware, a KitchenAid coffee maker, a Nespresso machine and custom-made glassware etched with Buffalo. Three 65-inch LCD TVs are available, equipping the suite for multimedia presentations and viewing parties.
