Interior Image Group’s Laura Thompson promoted to director of design operations

Interior Image Group, an interior design firm in the hospitality industry, promoted Laura Thompson to director of design operations. Thompson has been working with IIG as senior interior designer/ project manager for more than two years. In her new role, she will lead the operations team to bring on hospitality, casino and commercial design projects to completion. 

Before coming to IIG, Thompson held interior design roles at MKC Associates where she built a portfolio of K-12 educational design work. With nearly 10 years of design experience, Thompson earned her B.A. in Interior Design from the University of Akron, where she graduated Cum Laude. She is known for her project leadership, project fee/budget analysis, brand submittals and contract administrative coordination with architects and general contractors.

IIG is a boutique firm that delivers interior architecture and design to the hospitality industry. IIG’s various services include interior design, construction administration and brand development. Projects are managed from inception to completion. The IIG design team’s portfolio includes hotels from branded select service to four-star properties and restaurant design.
