Istanbul Marriott Hotel Sisli opens as next generation Marriott property in Istanbul

Marriott International opened the Istanbul Marriott Hotel Sisli, taking the company’s total number of properties to seven in Istanbul and 11 in Turkey overall. The property has a rooftop heliport and views of Istanbul’s skyline from the guestrooms and event space.

The hotel is situated within a 34-story building on the European side of Istanbul and between the business districts of Levent and Taksim. With its location in Sisli and proximity to popular cultural and historical sites, it is an ideal destination for both business and leisure travelers. Restaurants, shopping malls and boutiques are all within walking distance, while downtown destinations such as Taksim Square and Grand Bazaar are only minutes away.

The hotel’s 259 guestrooms have luxurious furnishings, modern amenities and views across the city to the Bosphorus and Golden Horn.

Also available are a health club and a spa, gym, indoor swimming pool, tennis court, Turkish bath, sauna, steam room and treatment rooms.

For dining, available are three food and beverage venues. The Dish Room Restaurant is an airy space specializing in Mediterranean cuisine and offering an outdoor terrace and lounge bar. The Terrace Bar has live DJ music. Meanwhile, The Great Room Lounge and My Bar offer light menu items made to order in the open oven.

Last year, Marriott began transforming its signature Marriott Hotels brand and introduced innovations across every part of the guest experience. Changes include the installation of technology with the adding into the meetings experience with Red Coat Direct, a digital concierge that allows meeting organizers to edit meeting requests with a touch of a button, and Meetings Imagined, a new digital platform to enable meeting planners to customize their events. These new digital services complement Istanbul Marriott Hotel Sisli’s 13,993 square feet of meeting space.
