Jin Jiang International Hotels scheduled the opening of its newest property, Yin Run Jin Jiang Resort Anji, located in Anji county in northwestern Zhejiang province, eastern China. The hotel is scheduled to open at the end of Q4 2014.
When the property opens, it will be Jin Jiang's first theme park hotel, and is part of and situated opposite the new Hello Kitty-themed amusement park. Both properties belong to the same owners and the theme park is also due to open at the end of Q4.
Anji, also known as the “Bamboo Town of China,” is known for its bamboo forests and natural scenic greenery. Anji is situated 40 miles from Hangzhou, and 142 miles from Shanghai. The hotel is located 1,640 feet from the major S14 Hangzhou to Changsha highway and is near some of the county's tourist destinations, including the Big Bamboo Sea, Zhejiang North Canyon and Hidden Dragon Falls.
The hotel's exterior will resemble a classic European castle and will have a man-made river surrounding the main entrance. The hotel will have 343 guestrooms and suites,. In lieu of the neighboring theme park, there will be 43 Hello Kitty-themed guestrooms and suites of which each room will feature designs of this iconic character, from the bedding and slippers to the mouthwash packaging. In addition, guests staying in these themed rooms will get to check in at an exclusive reception counter specifically for those staying in the Hello Kitty rooms.
The hotel will have a 7,212-square-foot column-free banquet hall that can hold up to 350 people and is designed to cater to various event needs. The hotel will also have a selection of gourmet Chinese and Western restaurants and will haveeight European style private dining rooms. Additional facilities will include a business center, a fitness center and an indoor swimming pool.
