JOI-Design recognized

JOI-Design has been named as one of the world’s most successful hospitality interior design specialists by Interior Design magazine. The publication had an annual survey that celebrates the achievements of the top-earning design practices by ranking them according to the project fees they have received over a one-year period. For the 2011 Hospitality Giants report, JOI-Design was placed in the 25th spot based upon its actual fee income from July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2011.

Also a sign of the global recognition of JOI-Design, the company’s co-managing director Corinna Kretschmar-Joehnk was invited to be a judge at the annual European Hotel Design Awards, held on November 22. Kretschmar-Joehnk was the only expert from Germany.

JOI-Design was founded in Hamburg in 1984 by Peter Joehnk. Current/recent projects include: Hilton, Hilton Garden Inn plus public dining and meeting areas, THE SQUAIRE Frankfurt Airport; JW Marriott Cannes; Steigenberger Bremen, Germany; Renaissance Antibes, France; Ritz-Carlton Wolfsburg, Germany; Lindner Resort Mallorca, Spain; Park Inn Krakow, Poland; Dolce Hotel, Munich; and PwC Tower 185, Frankfurt.
