Kaminski oversees opening of new Starwood resort

CARLSBAD, CA (April 22, 2008) - Stan Kaminski is the general manager of the recently opened Sheraton Carlsbad Resort & Spa. Kaminski joined the pre-opening team of the Sheraton Carlsbad in July 2007 and is overseeing the recently opened 129 rooms at the resort, as well as Phase II of the resort which is an additional 121 guest rooms. Phase II is scheduled to open in early May 2008.

The hotel boasts over 30,000 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor meeting space, accommodating groups up to 500 people, in addition to its signature restaurant Twenty/20 and destination Ocean Pearl Spa. Kaminski was formerly with JC Resorts at the Rancho Bernardo Inn and Surf and Sand Hotel.
