Kimpton names new creative director

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants' resident design guru, Ave Bradley, has been promoted to creative director and SVP, overseeing the design vision for the collection of boutique style hotels and chef-driven restaurants in the US.

Bradley joined the Kimpton in 2009 as the VP of design, setting new design direction for the boutique hotel company’s portfolio. She led the charge in design and décor for hotels including Hotel Monaco (Philadelphia), Hotel Palomar (Phoenix and Chicago), Surfcomber Hotel (South Beach), Hotel La Jolla, and restaurants including Sable Kitchen & Bar (Chicago), Lantao Social Club (Miami), Red Owl Tavern (Philadelphia) and Stratus Lounge (Philadelphia). She also spearheaded the renovations of New York City’s 70 Park Avenue Hotel, in addition to the Hotel Triton, a hotel in San Francisco.

In fall 2012, Bradley was one of the recipients of Hospitality Design’s “Wave of the Future” award, honoring a select group of accomplished designers and architects considered visionaries in the interior design space.

Prior to joining Kimpton, Bradley was director of interiors and director of brand design and development at W Hotels.
